Gift Specialist
Keisha is a mother, wife, writer, poet, motivational speaker, workshop facilitator and community activist. She currently works as a District Resource Personnel for a pharmaceutical company and committed to her legendary services of GOT Heart and excellent customer service of always going beyond her responsibilities. She has been recognized many times for her outstanding work ethics, dedication and contributions to the customers. Keisha is also a veteran who served her country for six years. She was awarded for being the best Class Commander, for her dedication and high performances in all areas of testing. Keisha has also been involved with the three of her children's schools as the School Leadership Team Co-Chairperson, PSA President for over ten years, DOE Presidents Council Secretary and a Learning Leader for District 12. She created an amazing Resource Center filled with thousands of free information and gifts for the students, parents and staff. She also created an effective and elaborative Parent Action Plan for the parents of P.S.66.
Keisha is also an awesome chef that cooks all ethnic foods and have worked for different restaurants in Manhattan. She catered many events and workshops over the years. Keisha worked for a wide range of fields that has help mold her into the helpful and caring individual she is today. She has experiences working with a Law Firm, Social Security Administration, Assemblyman, Senator, Entertainment, Food Industry, and Retail. Keisha has also paid it forward to her community by collaborating an event with Senator Rev. Reuben Diaz and Assemblyman Marcos Crespo for the parents and children in temporary housing. She also fundraised extensively for the students of P.S.66 and raffled many gifts of LOVE at the events and workshops. Keisha is dedicated to being the change she wants to see in the world.
She is a poet dedicated to being a Passion Filled Writer for the Women's Edition Group. Her new book "Tears Laced With Fire" will be released July 2016. Her book consists of a collection of poems that are filled with the pain she has overcome, the passion she has for writing, her inner thoughts, feelings, perceptions, and struggles with her life long health issues. Uniquely each of her poems illustrate a story, that will drawn you into her emotions. Writing this book has helped her to express her true passion for writing poems and performing her poetry.
She is currently working on her second book titled "A Little Bit of Sugar", which will illustrate how she has coped with all her trials and tribulations, the bits of sugar in her life and the love she sprinkles everywhere. Over the summer, she will be facilitating workshops for all ages.
